The Story

On June 12, 1898, Emilio Aguinaldo stood on the balcony of his house in Kawit, Cavite, and the Philippine flag was unfurled for the first time as a declaration of independence.

The sun on that flag had eight rays. One for each of the first provinces that rose up. A reminder that freedom is not claimed by one person but by a people who decide together that enough is enough.

The Freedom We Wear Tee was designed as a tribute to that spirit. Not just the historical moment but what it means to carry it forward. The Filipino who works two jobs abroad and sends money home. The student who fights for something better than what was handed to them. The artist who tells stories that would have been silenced in another era. The everyday person living the life that was paid for by people who came before them.
